Home Performance with Energy Star
Rebates up to $1200 + low interest loans
This is a national program designed to help homeowners bring their homes up to Energy Star standards. The average utility bill savings is 30% plus you will be more comfortable. Several aspects of your home are evaluated separately and collectively to show the potential for improved energy efficiency.
Air Conditioner/Air Source Heat Pump Rebates
Rebates up to $1600
Columbia Water and Light provides incentives for electric customers based on the size and efficiency of the new unit.
Residential Loans
Columbia Water & Light provides low-interest, fixed-rate loans to assist in making energy-efficiency updates to your home. The loans are available to those participating in the Home Performance with Energy Star program.
New Home Energy Star Rebates
Build a new energy efficient home and you could be eligible for a $1000 rebate.
Free Energy Audit
Our free evaluation of your home or business will provide energy and water efficiency tips specific for your location. Sign up to have a Columbia Water & Light employee visit your home, or complete an online audit.
Tree Power
The Tree Power program promotes energy conservation through energy-efficient landscaping. When you sign up for the program, Columbia Water and Light will provide a free shade tree and visit your property to make a recommendation about the best place to plant your tree.
Load Management
Load Management reduces peak electric demand during the hottest afternoons of the summer, when air conditioning load is the greatest and the cost of electricity is at its highest. A Load Management Switch on your electric meter will help you save up to 3% on your summer electric bills.
Solar Incentives
Columbia Water & Light offers electric customers rebates and netmetering agreements for solar systems.
